Vice President of Marketing
Whitney Bell is passionate about improving the way people come together face-to-face. With 10 years’ experience, she is responsible for the strategic planning, management and execution of multiple marketing campaigns to increase attendance and exposition sales, enhance event engagement and drive revenue for a variety of clients at NTP Events. She has the privilege of overseeing a bold, bright and talented marketing department.
Prior to joining NTP, Whitney worked in public relations, marketing, and advertising at public-private partnerships focused on Federal IT. She is a goal-oriented self-starter with success in branding and marketing plans, project management, online and in-person events, audience acquisition, digital and public relations campaigns, lead demand generation, and market research.
She holds a B.B.A in Marketing and a B.A. in Spanish from James Madison University and is a member of the International Association of Exposition and Events. Additionally, she has participated in Bell Leadership training. While not working, Whitney enjoys spending time with her husband and son, dancing, boating, reading, and cheering on the UofL Cards and JMU Dukes!

Jonathan Taylor Thomas – gotta love some Home Improvement ☺
What was your strangest job?
I was a magician’s assistant for three years. Yes – I was the person cut in half, levitated, and locked in boxes. We traveled across the US doing various shows. And no, I will not tell you the secrets…
What’s the coolest fireworks display you’ve ever seen?
Thunder Over Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. It is the largest fireworks display in North America and is the kickoff to my favorite season of the year – Kentucky Derby season!
Were you named after anyone?
My maiden name is Hewson…so (say it out loud)…I was Whitney Hewson for the first 28 years of my life.
