Director of Marketing
Kate Faris joined NTP Events in February 2026 and serves as Director of Marketing where she is responsible for leading multiple internal and client marketing campaigns. With over 12 years of experience in communications, marketing, and event strategy, she brings a creative and adaptable approach to transform client objectives into tailored marketing strategies to deliver measurable results.
Before joining NTP Events, Kate worked as a communications consultant for both federal and private clients in a variety of industries including energy, public health, transportation, information technology, and higher education.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Stephen F. Austin State University and is a member of the Society of Government Meeting Planners. Outside of work, she enjoys needlepointing, running, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two kids.

What’s the coolest place you’ve traveled?
Alaska! My husband and I road tripped around Alaska for our honeymoon, exploring Seward, Talkeetna, Denali, and Wrangell-St. Elias. It was peaceful, beautiful, and much colder than our home state of Texas.
