Director, Operations & Conferences
Gretchen Wendorf joined NTP Events in 2007 as a Conference Specialist, coordinating logistics for several major shows. In 2009, she transitioned to a contractor role and continued to support the DEMA Show. Today, she serves as Director of Operations & Conferences, overseeing event logistics, vendor management, and conference execution for multiple NTP clients. Her attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and deep industry experience help ensure each event’s success from planning through completion.
Before joining NTP, Gretchen spent six years with the Hilton Corporation, most recently as Director of Events at the DoubleTree Hotel Crystal City. In that role, she oversaw the convention department and managed the design, planning, coordination, and execution of numerous conferences, training programs, seminars, and panel meetings. Her leadership and excellence in event management earned her the Circle of Excellence – Director of the Year award under the DoubleTree brand in 2004.
Gretchen holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Virginia Tech.
