Fun Facts
What cheers you up?
Playing the piano – but not just any piano. I inherited my family’s player piano and can spend hours peddling away, churning out song after song while singing at the top of my voice. It never fails to lift my spirits.
What nicknames do you have/have you had?
JennyBogue—when I was in high school, my last name became attached to my first name in a way that basically turned them into one word. I am of “The Age of Jennifers” and my friends in college and the three Jennifers I lived with after college all went by their last names, except me. JennyBogue. No matter what happens in the future, I will always be JennyBogue!
What’s the coolest fireworks display you’ve ever seen?
When took my son for his first visit to the Magic Kingdom at Disney World, the fireworks at the end of the night were amazing. The music and lights swept us away and made us forget we were standing in the rain to watch. It was a wonderful way to end a very special day with my son and a moment I will always remember.
What was your very first car?
Metallic blue Mazda 323 with power nothing. I loved it because it was mine, but I certainly don’t miss cranking down those windows or the lack of power steering!
