Event Services Coordinator
Melissa Brim joined the Sales Team at NTP in May 2017 as a Sales Coordinator with the responsibility of sales support, contract processing, floor plan management, database maintenance and exhibitor support. She has since transitioned to the Event Services Team where she serves as an Event Services Coordinator. Melissa currently assists the team with several NTP clients, including the National Catholic Education Association, Destination Marketing Association International, and the Air Force Association.
Prior to joining NTP, Melissa worked as a coordinator for the Consumer Technology Association providing sales support and exhibitor customer service. She also worked as a Sales Lead for two small marketing firms, obtained a license for issuing and servicing property and casualty insurance policies and has dabbled in interior design.
Melissa has a B.S. in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and a B.A. in Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, advocating for social justice, reading a book in her favorite outdoor nook, traveling and discovering new places to explore, photography, drawing and finding the next best place to grab a taco!

What is the strangest thing you have ever eaten?
Diniguan- a Filipino pork stew simmered in a gravy made with pig’s blood. Not a fan.
What movie have you watched more than 10 times?
Forrest Gump…but seriously, who hasn’t? It’s the best movie EVER.
If you could have one superpower what would it be?
If I had one superpower it would be the ability to teleport to wherever I felt like going because who likes dealing traffic and airports?!
