Ashley Deaton was very excited to join the team at NTP in September 2014. She helps to coordinate a variety of special programs for both Coverings and APTA EXPO which enhance attendee and exhibitor experiences at our trade shows including mobile apps, the Coverings Installation and Design Awards and the Public Transportation Innovation Challenge. She also oversees the production of attendee marketing pieces and manages publication trade agreements to ensure APTA and Coverings are prominently displayed in their respective industries. As a newer member of NTP, her role is continuing to evolve and expand along with the growth of the company and the marketing department.
Previously, Ashley spent over 2 years living and working in Australia as a marketing and sponsorship coordinator for a sporting event management company. In this role, she successfully assisted in preparation and promotion of 33 events and the delivery of 28 events with over 41,000 entries. She created and managed all of the company’s social media, website, press release and newsletter content as well as secured a number of vital sponsorships for the company.
Ashley has a B.S. in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech. She completed the International Business Program in Lugano, Switzerland in 2011 and is a PSE (marketing fraternity) alumni.

What’s the coolest fireworks display you’ve ever seen?
I got back from Australia just in time for 4th of July this year. I watched the fireworks on the National Mall with my family and they were spectacular!
