NTP Events Announces New Vice President of Marketing and Director of Operations

Alexandria, VA (November 14, 2017) — NTP Events, the leader in the face-to-face events industry, announces the promotion of Whitney Bell as Vice President of Marketing and the hire of David Cherry as Director of Operations & Conferences.

Whitney transitions into a new position as Vice President of Marketing. In this capacity, Whitney is responsible for the strategic planning, management and execution of marketing campaigns to increase attendance and exposition sales, enhance event engagement and drive revenue for NTP Events’ clients. She has been with NTP Events for three years and brings over 10 years of experience to the role. “Whitney has brought a new perspective and vision on how to manage the department with tremendous success,” said Chris Harar, President of NTP Events. “She has also been instrumental in implementing successful strategies to increase attendee and exhibitor participation, building new business for the division and engaging her team.” She holds a B.B.A in Marketing and a B.A. in Spanish from James Madison University. In his role, David is responsible for managing the operations and conferences department as well as the execution of all client events. “I am confident that David will be a great addition, bringing strong operational expertise and insight to the team,” said Harar. David joins NTP Events with more than 10 years of experience and previously worked for the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization where he served as the Corporate Relations & Exhibits Manager. He holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from West Virginia Wesleyan College and is currently working on a M.A. at the University of Maryland University College Graduate School.
